Q. What do I need to include in my Statement of Purpose if I am a first time applicant?
A. Each applicant much identify an IƱupiat Ilitqusiat that they are working towards.

Q. What do I need to include in my Statement of Purpose if I am returning applicant?
A. Each returning applicant must identify how their previous scholarship funds were specifically used (i.e. tuition, book, or lab fees).

Q. How do I know which academic term to apply for whether quarterly, semester, or vocational?
A. Each applicant should either check their school's academic calendar or school website.

Q. When are official academic transcripts required?
A. Each new applicant must submit an official transcript upon applying. Returning applicants must submit one every fall semester.

Q. What is my GPA requirement?
A. Each new applicant must have at least a 2.0 accumulative GPA. Returning applicants must complete each term with at least a 2.0 GPA.

Q. What if I receive a full-time or part-time scholarship and do not complete all of my enrolled classes?
A. Applicants that do not fulfill their scholarship requirements may be placed on scholarship probation.

Q. What is scholarship probation?
A. Whether you are a full-time or part-time applicant you may only receive half of the scholarship award.

Q. What if I decide to retake a class that I did not pass or received a low grade but was previously funded by my scholarship award?
A. Applicants that retake a class that was previously funded by Aqqaluk Trust whether desiring to receive a better or passing grade are not eligible for additional funding.
