Sivunniigvik, literally translated means "the planning place." The children of the NANA region have come to know Camp Sivu as the place they gather in the summer to learn more about their culture, themselves, and their communities. This web page is dedicated to sharing the mission, the experiences, and most of all, what Sivunniigvik means to the people and communities of the NANA region. Use the buttons above or the text links below to explore our web page and find out what Camp Sivu is all about.

The summer programs of Sivunniigvik are one facet of a multi-faceted Inupiat Ilitqusiat PROGRAM in the NANA region to instill in the minds and character of our youth our traditional Inupiaq Values. These values are universal and, when learned, can instill in each individual self-confidence and self-respect as well as respect for others, animal life, and nature.
